| Description of Activity: |
| Resurrection members participate in the "Tour of Tables" fundraiser by hosting a table, attending the event, or helping in other ways. The Elder Network empowers older adults to adjust to life's transitions and to live life as fully, safely, and independently as possible in their chosen environment. The focus is on assisting adults age 55 and older in Olmsted County. |

Respite Care Description: |
Programs include:- transportation to medical and dental appointments
- Friendly Visitor- individuals and/or their families meet weekly with an older adult for activites such as playing cards, going for a walk, and general socialization.
- Home Services- special projects such as an outdoor chore or ramp building.

Program includes:
- Companion services to older adults who are not able to be home alone. This allows the caregiver the opportunity to leave the home and know that someone is with their loved one. Volunteers perform non-medical support only. Both short term and long term respite is available
- DayBreak- meets every other Friday at the Senior Citizen Center from 11 am- 2 pm. This involves activities and lunch for older adults.

Requirements for Participation: |
| Volunteers make weekly home visits to assist older adults deal with challenges and adjustments associated with growing older such as isolation, grief, depression, anxiety, retirement, and major health changes. Volunteers provide support and encouragement for positive change, help with goal planning and making the connection with other beneficial community services. |
Volunteers are welcome. Time commitment varies depending on the program. Training is provided. Volunteers for the Peer Support program need to be at least 55 years of age and receive more extensive training. |

For those caring for family members with cancer: at Hope Lodge (411 2nd St. NW) the 2nd Wednesday and 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm.
For caregivers of an older adult: 1st Tuesday of the month from 1:30-2:30 pm. |
