Coordinator(s): Coordinator(s): Carolyn House 507-536-7452 jdhouse@centerplacenet.com   Meeting Times: Location of Meeting: monthly on Wednesday 9:00-10:00 am Conference Room Requirements for Participation Length of Commitment: Demonstrate traits to deal with death, grief, and loss by initially working with a mentor, especially if personal grief is less than one year. 1 year, renewed each year if desired. What is involved in membership? Attend monthly meetings Continue with own education regarding grief Accept family assignment as requested or find replacement Self evaluation annually History of Group This grief ministry group was organized in the spring of 2006 with nine members who covered 23 funerals in that year. Grief a.m. and p.m. coffees were established to meet and support those grieving loss. One year of bereavement follow-up is provided by team members.
