When Did We See You, Jesus?

This fall in Generations of Faith, we will begin a year of learning about Social Justice. To begin the year, Expanding Horizons will focus on the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 25, Jesus's teaching about the Last Judgment. The just will ask him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or see you thirsty and give you drink? When did we welcome you away from home or clothe you in your nakedness? When did we visit you when you were ill or in prison?' The king will answer them: 'I assure you, as often as you did it for one of my least brothers, you did it for me.' Matthew 25: 37-40

Expanding Horizons is one of three, equally important Generations of Faith learning opportunities Resurrection offers to accommodate busy lifestyles, different age groups, and varied learning styles. Expanding Horizons are self-guided learning centers that provide depth and variety to the themes which are presented on Parish Nights and Going Deeper classes–topics central to our faith. Expanding Horizons are intended for all parishioners, with separate centers for adults, youth, and children.
