Job Posting	Facility Manager Needed– A full-time position in Facility Management is available at The Church of St. John the Evangelist, 11 SW 4th Avenue, Rochester. The Facility Manager is responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and operation of the facility, its grounds, and equipment as well as for the coordination of facility use needs and set-ups for all programs, activities and events. A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in vocational training and education is beneficial in addition to experience in related fields. Some evening and weekend hours are required. Salary and benefit package is commensurate with education and experience. Job Posting	Director of Communications and Technology position available at the Church of the Resurrection. Position involves 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., includes benefits. Provide technology support and training for office staff, management of church communications and small network, ongoing maintenance of church web site, and must be proficient in all Microsoft office products and photo software. August 6-8, 2010	Together Encounter Christ (TEC) The Diocese of Winona offers three to four annual TEC retreats for 16 year olds and older to deepen their relationship with Jesus. The next retreat is scheduled August 6 – 8 at Cotter High School in Winona. This retreat moves around the diocese to make it available to everyone. The last TEC was held Waseca. Please check out our diocesan TEC website, www.pathwaystec.org for more information and for the registration form. Summer is a great time to encourage young people to participate in this special three-day retreat experience. We hope you will encourage someone to attend.
August 15, 2010	KC's 2nd Annual Parish Golf Cup: This event is for the Church of the Resurrection and St. Francis of Assisi parishes. We will have a four person best-shot format with either a noon shotgun start or staggered tee times from noon to 1:00 PM based on participation. A steak dinner will follow at approximately 5:00 PM. We'll have hot dogs for any younger children joining us for dinner. Play golf or just enjoy the dinner! There will be lots of fabulous prizes for low scores and field events as well as door prizes at dinner. We'd welcome any donated prizes- please drop off at the parish center. Fees are $75 per adult, $45 for youth and young adult (age 25 and lower) and $13 (adult) or $5 (children) for the dinner only. Fees cover golf fees, sleeve of balls, cart, and dinner. Oct. 30-Nov. 9, 2010	Trip to Ireland: Fr. Tom Loomis and Fr. Steve Peterson will be hosting this eleven day trip. The cost per person from Minneapolis is $2699. Faith Sharing Stories: We'd like to thank all those who have written and shared their Faith Stories with us in our Sunday Bulletin over the past 2 years. They have provided us with inspiration and reminded us of God's amazing love in our daily lives. If you have missed them, they are now available in the church's library near the front entrance in a red binder. If you have a faith story to share, drop it off at the office or send it by email to bevl@resurrection-catholic.org

Resurrection Prayer Line: When Prayers Go Up…. Blessings Come Down.
A quiet, yet very powerful ministry is beginning at The Church of the Resurrection. A prayer line, using e-mail technology, is ready to begin.

What is a prayer line? A prayer line is a way of sharing prayer requests with a “line” of people. Parishioners may serve in this ministry by adding their name to a distribution list. To do this, send an e-mail to prayerline@resurrection-catholic.org. People serving with prayer can expect prayer requests sent via your e-mail address throughout the week. In the quiet of your home, the prayer team prays for these requests.
