Vision Statement

We are a Catholic People journeying toward a celebration of God's love personally and in community by responding to the needs of others, welcoming, and loving all.

The Church of the Resurrection Parish was established as an outgrowth of the mother parish of St. Francis in April, 1967. Father Donald Zenk was named as first administrator and pastor. The parish census was 365 families. On Dec. 24, 1968, midnight mass was the first mass offered in the new parish center. On June 12, 1988 there was a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a new church. The first mass was offered on Palm Sunday, March 18, 1989 with processions from the old parish center. The parish census was 950 families.

Today, the Church of the Resurrection is a community of more than 1500 families. Fr. Kevin Connolly was appointed pastor in 2010. We count our blessings from God and continue to strive to fulfill our mission as a parish.
