The Stewardship Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We thank you for all we are and all we have.
This all has been gift from you.

Enlighten our minds,
So that we can be good stewards,
Using wisely the daily gifts that we receive.

Help us understand that it is better to give than to receive.
By giving, we can adjust the inequalities of the human race,
so that social peace can reign among us.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, the Lord,
and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
