Prayer Groups at ResurrectionFreedom in Christ Prayer Group“I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”Matthew 18: 19-20 At Resurrection we have a small group of trained parishioners who meet weekly to pray for identified needs within the community. If you are interested in having these prayer ministers pray specifically for your or someone else's needs whether physical, spiritual, or emotional, fill out a form and put it in the envelope located outside of the adoration chapel. Forms are available near the envelope or online. Lay Apostles Prayer GroupThe Lay Apostles of Jesus Christ the Returning King is a group that shares a monthly message from Jesus to Anne, a lay apostle, and pray the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary. The group meets the second Tuesday of each month in Room E from 1:00-2:00 PM. They also agree to follow the Five Guidelines for Lay Apostles of Jesus Christ the Returning King. If you have any questions or would like more information, contact Midge Gronseth at 507-289-5835 (evenings only). Perpetual AdorationPrayer before the Blessed Sacrament is open for all 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week (exclusive of Mass times). The Blessed Sacrament is located in Fr. A quiet, yet very powerful ministry is at work at The Church of the Resurrection- a prayer line, using e-mail technology. What is a prayer line? A prayer line is a way of sharing prayer requests with a “line” of people. Parishioners may serve in this ministry by adding their name to a distribution list. To do this, send an e-mail to prayerline@resurrection-catholic.org. People serving in this ministry can expect requests sent to them by e-mail throughout the week. In the quiet of their home, they pray for these requests. If you would like to make prayer requests for yourself or others, you can do so by e-mailing the above address or contacting the church office at 288-5528. For further questions, please contact Monica Steinmetz at 282-3263.
